Recycled Materials

3D Printing produces a fair amount of waste, from rafts, brims, supports, and failed prints. There is also the leftover spool at the end of a roll of filament, some large companies have taken steps to reduce this by using cardboard spools instead of plastic. However, many other companies still use plastic spools so in an effort to reduce waste, we are developing innovative ways to reuse the spools. For example, with a bit of 3D printing, they can be used as drawers to hold small items or they can be used to hold electrical cords.

As far as the leftover PLA it can be reused as well, we sell flat sheets of PLA which are perfect for designing your own ideas with a CNC, as well as shredded PLA which can be used for almost anything including injection molding. Both of these products are available in a mix of colors.
